Content-Type: multipart/mixed;

Pat, We have a pathway/RFT that converts medication orders to dismissal instruction orders. The retrieval in the pathway converts the med cat code to a different one for dismissal meds. The RFT converts the route and schedule into lay terms (for the most part this is a combination of cat code/item #/literal checks in to RFT). We do not convert med orders for prescriptions for discharge meds. Please find attached the Final Dismissal Instruction RFTs (we do have several other's, which I can explain further if you are interested). We print 2 copies of this RFT; one for the patient and one for the chart (the signed copy). We too, are E7000 (4.1) hospital, not Careminder. Feel free to call or e-mail me directly if you have further questions or would like more information. Kathy Katherine M. We have a pathway in place but we are trying to make it more user-friendly for physicians and nurses? We are E7000 (4.1) hospital, not Careminder.
