The carbon group at PMEL has mounted sensors on moored buoys within the
TAO Array to provide high resolution time-series measurements of atmospheric boundary layer and surface ocean CO2 partial pressure (pCO2 ). These data are used to evaluate the temporal variability in air-sea CO2 fluxes and to assist in examining the mechanisms controlling CO2 fluxes.
