The Oregon Department of Transportation has received reports of telephone solicitors posing as ODOT officials and offering contracts or to buy bonds for clean up in the wake of this week’s storm.

“ODOT does not contact individuals for clean up contracts,” said Patrick Cooney, ODOT spokesman. “If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be offering ODOT services for money, please contact your local law enforcement agency.”
