Oregon Freight Advisory Committee to meet in Salem

The Oregon Freight Advisory Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at the Local Government Center, 1201 Court Street NE, in Salem.
 
Agenda items include:
  • a discussion of the Oregon Freight Plan;
  • a report on West Coast container capacity;
  • a report on a study of the I-5 corridor between I-84 and I-405:
  • an update and vote regarding ConnectOregon II recommendations to the OTC;
  • a report on a rail multi-modal study; and
  • a progress report on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
 
OFAC advises the ODOT director and the Oregon Transportation Commission on issues, policies and programs that affect multimodal freight mobility in Oregon. This includes identifying high-priority freight mobility projects for consideration in transportation improvement programs.
