Consumer Power for the 21st Century

Consumer Power for the 21st Century is a series of courses on renewable energy for homeowners and businesses, offered at the NREL Visitors Center. Presentations from recent courses are posted below.

This course is designed to help home owners assess the numerous new, clean energy choices available to them. It includes an overview of the current energy situation; information about renewable energy resources and technologies; and a practical guide to residential renewable energy applications. Participants learn how to offset rising energy costs and achieve greater independence from conventional energy sources. The course also offers cost-effective methods for capturing and using energy from the sun, wind and the earth.
