A Perform ultrasound and/or diagnostic mammogram. A Pure cyst Consider aspiration if symptomatic or refer to the appropriate consultant. A Residual mass or bloody aspirate? A Perform ultrasound and/or diagnostic mammogram Solid lesion or complex cyst See Algorithm V, Image-Directed Core Needle Biopsy Follow-up clinical breast exam in 4-6 weeks at discretion of clinician. A Breast imaging abnormal? Follow-up clinical breast exam in 4-6 weeks at discretion of clinician Residual mass? A Inform patient of next screening date.
