Encounter Teacher Resource Box

The Encounters Teacher Resource Box is a kit full of books, videos, activities and other reference materials regarding the history and environment of the area of Southern Arizona known to the Spanish as the Pimeria Alta. Located in area schools and many Tucson-Pima Public Libraries.

 

Download and print a copy of our Junior Ranger Program Activity Book which contains numerous activities about the park and local history. Applicable for students in grades K-8, activities can be used to augment lesson plans or just for fun.

 
Mission 2000 Database

Mission 2000 is a web-based computer program that allows you to search mission records including burial records, baptisms, marriages and other events, in the area historically known as the Pimeria Alta (Southern Arizona and Sonora, Mexico). This is an excellent research tool with over 24,00 names listed. Students can search the database to help them understand 
Hispanic heritage and family history.
