Saguaro National Park’s Teachers Guide is a guide to the natural and cultural resources of Saguaro National Park. This guide provides valuable information on the park and incorporates an outstanding variety of pre-visit and post-visit activities for teachers and students in 4th grade, but can be modified for other grades as well. Did You Know?
Even though the Sonoran Desert is known as very hot and dry place, snow sometimes falls and accumulates on the desert floor of Saguaro National Park. When it does it turns the desert into a winter wonderland.
