Non-Metro Local Official Consultation Process

The purpose of this document is to record the non-metropolitan local officials consultation process that has been developed in consonance with the Hawaii Statewide Transporation Planning Process (STPP).  Consultation and cooperation in transportation planning and decision making are critical factors for any successful planning process.  The non-metropolitan local officials consultation process is on facet of the overall out reach program under the Statewide Transporation Planning Process and is separate and discrete from the State's general Public Involvement Process.
