As a father of four children (7, 12, 13, 14) I see no reason for why any entity should collect personal information from my children. A perfect example is a website of Focus on the Family http://www.whitsend.org This website specifically caters to children without soliciting any data from children. If an entity feels a need to solicit data regarding children, then they should provide a link that parents can choose to follow.
