The Utah Avalanche
Center offers dozens of free avalanche awareness presentations
throughout the season to educate the public on avalanche
basics and techniques on how to avoid triggering avalanches.

The Friends of the Utah Avalanche Center
is a fund raising organization. Although the Utah Avalanche
Center is a Forest Service program, more than eighty percent
of the funding comes from a consortium of State, County
and private funding.
