PREVENTIVE TASK FORCE
:: Expand and Maintain Organizational and Community Capacity and Expertise for Health Promotion

This workgroup has initially focused on training and skill building needed to implement the Prevention Initiative. Interventions originating in each of the Leading Health Indicators will lead to some common capacity building needs. The capacity building initiative will need to include significant efforts in training, organizational changes to support community directed change, and investment in data systems that meet local needs.
