Feature Stories Panel Holds First Meeting on GSA Pricing

The first public meeting of a blue ribbon panel created by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to review and make recommendations on GSA's pricing policies took place May 5 at the American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C.

Created in late March under the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Multiple Award Schedules Advisory Panel reviews and makes recommendations on the methods GSA uses to negotiate prices and award federal contracts for commercial products and services. The 15-member panel of government and industry experts will accept public comments during a series of open meetings in Washington, D.C.

Meeting announcements and information on panel activities and related documents are posted here.

Questions may be emailed to masadvisorypanel@gsa.gov.

A consolidated web page is also available. A joint effort created by GSA's Acquisition Management and the Office of Citizen Services and Communications' Enterprise Web Management, the page provides a valuable opportunity for eligible state and local governments and non-profits to find helpful information on how to acquire federal surplus personal property through the program, State Agencies for Surplus Property.

GSA uses this web page to promote cooperation among federal, state and local governments and is another way GSA reaches out with One GSA, One Voice.
