Donald Shriber, JD, MPH, directs and manages CDC's Washington, DC, office in his capacity as associate director of CDC. He represents CDC in Washington before HHS, other Administration officials, and non-governmental entities. He also directs and oversees CDC's legislative strategy.
Prior to assuming his current position, Mr Shriber served as counsel to the Commerce Committee, US House of Representatives, Washington, DC, from 1987-1995, where he directed the Committee's legislative initiatives on the federal budget and healthcare.
Mr. Shriber received a bachelor of arts from Harvard University, JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his master's in public health in 1987. He is a member of the California and Washington, DC, bars.
