Males comprised 81.8 percent of those arrested for violent crimes and 66.6 percent of those arrested for property crimes.
Of all persons arrested for murder in 2007, 89.8 percent were male.
Males accounted for 81.2 percent of all persons arrested for drug abuse violations.
Females accounted for 51.5 percent of all persons arrested for embezzlement in 2007.
