Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

A weak cold front will move into northern Missouri and Kansas late Tuesday afternoon, and essentially fall apart across the area on Wednesday. However, this front may provide just enough lift to produce a few showers and storms in its vicinity Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. Rainfall coverage may be somewhat limited, though could provide the best chance of precipitation that many locations have seen in over a week (and will likely see through the upcoming weekend).
