Gurvaneet Randhawa, M.D.
Gurvaneet Randhawa, M.D., is currently working in the Center for Outcomes and Evidence (COE) at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) in the field of evidence-based medicine with a focus on clinical applications of genomics and genetics. He is the immediate past director of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) Program and has worked with the USPSTF program for over 2 years.
Prior to joining AHRQ, Dr. Randhawa completed his Preventive Medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University and his Internal Medicine internship at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Randhawa also has trained for 9 years in molecular research in two clinical areas, genomic applications in tuberculosis control and in cancer molecular genetics, at two different institutions: Johns Hopkins at Baltimore, Maryland, and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at Houston, Texas.
