Q: How can I find out about tsunamis?

A: In the United States, NOAA is the primary agency tasked with the responsibility of tsunami warning. Through the National Weather Service, NOAA operates two tsunami warning centers.

For information on current or recent tsunamis, try:
Pacific Tsunami Warning Center
West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center
