Observed River Conditions

The graphic above is a clickable map.  The plotted points represent locations where recent river gage readings are available, and are color coded according to their proximity to flood stage. The values are no older than 24 hours prior to the date/time stamp on the graphic.

Orange, red, and magenta dots represent stages that are at or above flood stage. Yellow dots represent stages that are below flood stage, but are high enough to merit some internal action by affected parties. Green dots represent stages that are well below flood stage and are not high enough to merit much hydrologic concern. Gray dots indicate that data for that site is missing or older than 24 hours.

This map is automatically generated and may be posted to this web site before quality control measures have been completed on the data. Some of the data shown is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey, the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers, and other cooperative agencies.
