Continuous IBDB Burst Data in ASCII Format

Sixteen-channel background-subtracted data and the associated background fits for continuous (CONT) burst data are available in ASCII format. Download data for burst triggers 105 through 3193 via anonymous ftp. The CONT data type has 2.048-second resolution.

Each file contains a header and data as follows:

    0th row -->; burst number

    1st row -->; trigger time (in second of day), and TJD

    2nd row -->; burst RA, and DEC

    3rd row -->; triggered detectors in order [76543210] ( 1 -->; Y, 0 -->; N)

    4th row -->; # of bins, and # of energy channels

    5th row -->; degree of polynomial of background fit

    6th row -->; time of first bin (in seconds) relative to trigger time, and TJD

    7th row -->; detector #, and background-subtracted data for 16 channels

    8th row -->; detector # (same as previous row), and fitted background for 16 channels

    9th row -->; next detector #, and background-subtracted data for 16 channels

    10th row -->; detector # (same as previous row), and fitted background for 16 channels

    and etc... for the other detectors (the data format used here is i2,16f15.6)

    this is followed by the data for additional time steps, separated by 2.048 seconds

Here is an example of the header of and part of the data in a continuous IBDB ASCII data file:
