The EIA is the independent statistical and analytical agency within the U.S. Department of Energy. Visitors to its web site can find the Energy Price Page, which provides current and projected data on crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas, coal, and electricity. Some state-level data is available, as is contact information. The State Energy Profiles
page offers state-specific energy consumption, price, and expenditure estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial uses. The national total is also provided. This page is navigable by image map only.
