Focusing the lens: Exploring the Impact of Job Stress among Hispanic/Latina Blue-Collar Workers

DHPE is proud to present the results of a collaborative effort with the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to collect information on and gain a greater understanding of the impact of job stress on Hispanic/ Latina, blue collar workers quality of life and well-being. This investigation is the second phase of an ongoing project to explore the sources and effects of job stress on female, blue-collar workers and was instrumental in portraying some specific experiences of Hispanic/Latina workers and their realities both within and outside the workplace.

The Physical Activity Collaborative produced a call to action on the need for public health leadership in physical activity.
