    For disabled applicants, if you need proof that you are receiving income and/or services from Social Security, you can request this letter. This is sometimes called a “budget letter,” a “benefits letter,” or a “proof of award letter.”
 
Manufactured Structures
 
The department records a lien against the manufactured structure. Currently, the department’s lien shows as an issue on the LOIS system. The ownership document cannot be changed, or trip permit issued until the deferral account is paid in full.

For owners to make changes to a manufactured home, you MUST contact your county taxation/assessment office to have these changes processed. The Building Codes Division will not process transactions unless they have been first submitted to the county taxation/assessment office and have been refused.
 
Oregon Housing and Community Services
 
The Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program provides weatherization and energy conservation services at no cost to households below 60 percent of Oregon statewide median income. Households with seniors and disabled members and household with children under six years of age are given priority for eligibility for the program.
