Guidelines and Resources Prepared for Applicants Relevant Documents from the Library of Congress for Additional Background Related Reports and Resources from Other Institutions

For each round of the competition, Guidelines and Application Instructions were issued as a printed booklet and online. Supplementary documents were prepared and made available online to provide further detail on technical requirements for integration into American Memory. These documents covered issues relating both to the creation of digital reproductions and to providing access across the Internet. Links to other helpful web-accessible resources at the Library of Congress and elsewhere were also provided.
