The Central Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration in cooperation with the National Park Service is proposing to rehabilitate portions of Route 10 and Route 200 in Devils Tower National Monument. Improvements to Route 10 will be drainage related near the Administration Building to correct problems associated with the highly erodible Spearfish Formation. Work on Route 200 will include crack sealing, expansion and paving of the large vehicle turnaround parking lot and an overlay with hot asphalt concrete pavement. Work on Route 200 will begin at the intersection with Route 10 and end near the Picnic Area.

The campground loop portions of Route 200 and all of Route 400 will also be considered for improvements using National Park Service (NPS) funding since these portions of the routes are ineligible for Federal Lands Highway Program funding.
