JAMIA

AMIA's bimonthly journal, JAMIA, presents peer-reviewed articles that assist both professionals and students to develop and apply biomedical and health informatics to patient care, teaching, research, and health care administration. JAMIA has rapidly established a reputation for presenting high-quality, cutting-edge information. Each issue contains state-of-the-art reviews, discussion forums, and invited editorials presented as brief reviews or full-length papers. A variety of formats accommodates work at all stages, from model formulation through definitive studies.

JAMIA is indexed in Index Medicus, MEDLINE, EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, CINAHL, Science Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), SciSearch, Social SciSearch, Research Alert, Current Contents/Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Current Contents/Clinical Medicine. JAMIA is also available on PubMed Central.

JAMIA is included with most AMIA membership categories and is also available separately to those individuals and institutions who wish to purchase a subscription.

 

AMIA Annual Symposium Proceedings

The AMIA Annual Symposium Proceedings include papers and posters that present peer-reviewed state-of-the-art scientific and technical work presented at AMIA's annual meetings. The symposium continues to flourish as the premier forum for education in clinical informatics, clinical research informatics, public health informatics, and translational bioinformatics. Documents from proceedings prior to 1997, and from SCAMC meetings are currently only available in paper form. AMIA is participating in the National Library of Medicine's journal scanning project for PubMed Central and some proceedings are already available. You may purchase a print copy or CD-ROM copy for the AMIA Annual Symposia by downloading a copy of the publications order form.

IMIA Yearbook of Medical Informatics
Published by the International Medical Informatics Association, this annual publication includes the best papers from the international arena of medical informatics. AMIA members have free access to the directory as part of their membership benefits and services.

AMIA Return Policy
All sales, except for faulty goods as defined by the publisher, (e.g., books with missing, or blank pages) are final and non returnable. Receipt of faulty goods must be acknowledged within 10 business days of delivery to qualify for return. Return requests for faulty goods must be approved through the AMIA Member Services. Books approved for return must, other than the fault, be in new condition. The faulty goods will be replaced (at our discretion after inspection) free of charge without an additional shipping or handling charge.
