MUMBAI, India, Oct. 19, 2007 – Once again, competition today was delayed by ill-directed and sometimes non-existent wind conditions. But any heats completed were only a formality, as the quota required to award medals had been fulfilled. However, conditions did improve late into the afternoon, allowing 24 teams one last crack at beating the home town heroes: Team India. Skipper Fails To Qualify for China 08 Olympics
Mumbai, India, Oct. 15, 2007 – The U.S. Armed Forces Sailing team announces that its skipper, Lt. Cdr. David Fagan, failed to qualify for the 2008 China Olympics yesterday at Rhode Island Sailing Foundation, Third Beach, Middletown, Rhode Island. He placed 27th overall from a field of 33 competitors in the Laser Men’s single dinghy division. Story
