Description:
The AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language is a
nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the delivery of comprehensive services to children and adults who are deaf or hard-of-hearing through the certification of professionals who work with these individuals. The newly formed academy develops and manages certification programs, with an initial focus on the continued growth and recognition of the certified auditory-verbal therapist designation. The academy incorporated Auditory-Verbal
International and is closely affiliated with the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, which offers information and resources to the general public as well as to professionals.
