Toronto Rehabilitation Institute is pleased to announce that the 3rd National Spinal Cord Injury Conference and the 16th Interurban Spinal Cord Injury Conference will be held as one national event on Spinal Cord Rehabilitation: Innovation, Impact and Future Directions at the Hilton Toronto Hotel on November 6, 7, 8, 2008.

The conference will include a pre-course, plenary sessions, poster displays and concurrent workshops that are intended to promote collaboration and exchange among attendees in a variety of formats.

Consumer Outreach Program 2008

The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Canadian Paraplegic Association - Ontario, Spinal Cord Injury Solutions Network and the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation have partnered to support consumer involvement and attendance at the 2008 National SCI Conference.

The program is designed to provide financial support to consumers living with a spinal cord injury who would not ordinarily be able to attend this conference.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by The Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The conference is approved for up to 21.5 hours of CME.
