The Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center is located on an 84-acre campus on the site of historic cavalry fort, Fort Walla Walla, established in 1858. The VA Medical Center is a 66-bed primary and secondary care facility, serving veterans residing in a 42,000-square-mile primary service area within VISN 20. The facility provides traditional primary and secondary care plus psychiatry and substance abuse residential rehabilitation and CWT programs.
