EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 2, 2008: Riders can request a transfer when they board the bus. Each time they use the transfer, they will be required to show the transfer and pay the transfer fee. Transfers are valid for two hours. |

About Fares and Passes:
- ABQ RIDE Customer Service Center accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard or American Express for passes and tokens.
- No refunds on passes or tokens.
- Drivers don't carry money and can't open fareboxs.
- Fareboxs only accept coins (U.S. only), ABQ RIDE tokens, and $1 bills. ABQ RIDE fareboxes don't give change.
- Have exact change ready before boarding.
- Proper identification is required to purchase and use Silver Monthly Pass, Summer Fun Pass, and College Monthly Pass.
- Current school class schedule must be provided to purchase a College bus pass.
- Passes usually go on sale the 20th of each month for the following month.
- Passes aren't valid for special events.
- Most passes are prorated (half price) on the 16th of the month.
