All containers must be accessible for pick-up from 5 am- 6 pm unless otherwise agreed upon.

The type of service or route and cost depends on several factors, including the amount of trash generated, the size of the trash container, and the accessibility of the container. Refuse containers of various types and sizes can be leased or purchased from local private companies. Before obtaining any type of refuse container, contact the Solid Waste Management Department at (505) 761-8100 and ask to speak to a customer service representative. Your representative will assist you in determining both the size and type of container best suited to your individual needs. Collection routes available include the following:

• Front loader (two, four, six, or eight cubic yard lift bin )
• Compactor/Roll Off (17-40 cubic yard open-top bins)
• Automated trash cart collection (95-gallon trash carts provided by the City of Albuquerque)
• Rear packers (rear loader containers)
