If the cabin is unreserved for a single night (for example it is reserved Friday and Saturday and Monday and Tuesday nights and is not reserved on Sunday night) and you would like to reserve it for that one night, we may be able to accomodate you. Please call Kathleen Walker at (503) 622-3191 x 641. Leave a message if needed, on the single date you want it, your name and a phone number where you can be reached. Once we give the reservation system permission to override the two night minimum stay, we'll call you and you will need to make your reservation through the Reserveamerica site above.

Lookouts

Lookouts are small, measuring 14' x 14' and designed to house only one or two people during the warmer months. Therefore, the number of guests is limited to four (4).

Each tower is equipped with a propane cook stove (and instructions for operation), wood heating stove, table, chair, and a single bed.

Solar lighting systems have been installed in all three of the lookouts. At Fivemile Butte and Flag Point lookouts a rope and pulley system is available to transport your gear with ease. Clear Lake does not have a pulley system at this time.A catwalk surrounds the cabin.

On the ground are an outhouse, and a shed with a supply of firewood. It is recommended you bring your own drinking water.
