Idaho Man Stopped For Traffic Violation Found With 1.2 Pounds of Marijuana and Gun

An Oregon State Police (OSP) sergeant seized 1.2 pounds of Marijuana and a handgun Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 20 near the City of Hines.
 
On January 11, 2007 at 4:51 p.m., OSP Sergeant Brian Williams stopped a 2006 Nissan Sentra driven by Travis Callin, age 26, from Boise, Idaho for failure to maintain a single lane of travel on Highway 20 near milepost 130. During the stop Sergeant Williams detected an odor of Marijuana and subsequently found 1.2 pounds of Marijuana along with a loaded 357 magnum revolver.
 
Callin was taken into custody and lodged at the Harney County Jail on charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
