Welcome
NJWAN is the only female specific AIDS service organization in the state and one of the first in the nation. Founded in May 1988, it is a non-profit, tax exempt organization.
NJWAN's mission is to:
Reduce the spread of HIV infection in women;
Support the self-determination of women living with HIV/AIDS to better access quality care and treatment;
Educate service providers; and,
Advocate for appropriate policies in the women and AIDS pandemic.
NJWAN began as a grass roots organization through the help, generosity and dedication of community members like you!
