Manuel Medina is wanted for drug charges in Illinois. In September of 2002, Medina was allegedly found in possession of 150 kilograms of cocaine and was arrested on September 24, 2002. On November 20, 2002, a bond was posted in the amount of $1,000,000 for Medina, along with the stipulation that the bond be secured with the posting of a real property by a solvent surety. According to the terms of a forfeiture agreement, Medina and a family member agreed to post real property to partially secure the bond for Medina's release. Pursuant to the terms of the release order, Medina was released from custody and directed to comply with the conditions of his release. Additionally, on December 5, 2002, Medina agreed to a written plea agreement. On February 22, 2003, a family member of Medina's reportedly contacted a pretrial services officer and advised that the family was unable to locate Medina. His whereabouts remains unknown.
On February 24, 2003, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, for Manuel Medina's arrest. He was charged with violating bond conditions, which stemmed from drug charges.
