FY 2007 FUNDING UNDER THE RESEARCH AND TRAINING FOR EASTERN EUROPE AND THE INDEPENDENT STATES OF THE FORMER SOVIET UNION ACT OF 1983 (Title VIII)

Under Secretary Burns approved on August 1, 2007, the FY 2007 funding recommendations of the Advisory Committee for the Study of Eastern Europe and the Independent States of the Former Soviet Union. The FY 2007 Title VIII Program grants were awarded in late September 2007.

American Council of Learned Societies

Grant: $410,000 ($410,000 Southeast Europe)

Purpose: To support Dissertation Fellowships, Language Grants to Institutions and Individuals, Postdoctoral Fellowships, Conference Grants and Travel Grants.

American Councils for International Education
