Pharmacy benefit management When the replacement MMIS goes live later this year, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) will take over the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) functions from First Health. This section provides information on the specific benefits and changes for prescribing providers who will request prior authorization for covered drugs, and for the pharmacies that will bill for drug claims through the new PBM administrator, EDS. Make sure to eSubscribe to the MMIS Provider Resources Web site to get e-mail notification whenever we update the site with new information.
