Mission

The purpose of this research work unit is to evaluate the effects of environmental stress on the physiology and morphology of the Northern Forest ecosystem, and to make comparisons with neotropical ecosystems, so that managers can better evaluate how global change and human impacts affect tree health and improve ecosystem management tools.
