10 Yr Service Award

Mr. Olen McKnight of Clinton, Arkansas has been a cooperative observer for the National Weather Service for 10 years (as of March, 2005). Each morning, he has reported daily rainfall for his area.  At the end of each month, he sent his data to the National Weather Service...which was forwarded to the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina. This data is eventually published to become a part of the permanent record of the world's weather.

For his dedication, Mr. McKnight received a 10 Year Length-of-Service Award from the National Weather Service.
