Annual Performance Measures

The Research & Evaluation Unit provides mission-critical information on offender populations, program performance and policy impact which is essential for planning, evaluating and directing the operations of the Department of Corrections. The information that the unit provides helps direct decision making in the operation of state prisons, county corrections offices and the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision. In addition, the unit provides information and statistics to an expanding pool of outside customers and government partners to meet their informational needs.
