Description

Auxiliary Power Dynamics

Auxiliary Power Dynamics designs, manufacturers, and markets idle reduction auxiliary power units for the long haul trucking industry. The Willis Auxiliary Power System eliminates the need for all non-operational idling while providing heating, air conditioning, and electrical power for the cab. The unit also supplies air compression and main engine coolant circulation while it reduces fuel and maintenance costs.

Bergstrom, Inc.

Bergstrom manufacturers and markets the Nite system to reduce diesel engine idling in heavy-duty trucks.

Black Rock Systems LLC

The Blackrock Auxiliary Power Unit provides drivers with an alternative to main engine idling. The unit can be configured with either a 2- or 3-cylinder Yanmar Tier II water-cooled diesel engine and a choice of a 3.7kW, 5.2kW or a 3.6kW generator to meet driver's electrical and cab size requirements. All models provide 26,000 BTUs of heating/air conditioning, 1,000-hour oil change intervals, 4,000 hours/2 year warranty on the APU and a 4,000 hour/3 year warranty on the engine. Options include an ultra cold package for extreme weather conditions and removable steps.

CabAire, LLC

CabAire is the marketing arm of Control Module Inc., which manufactures automated truck plaza parking systems. Its patented Cab/Tower features include HVAC - heating & cooling, ultraviolet purified air, cable and high speed internet, block heater power, power grid connections, and reefer power connections to reduce or eliminate idling during rest periods.
