New fund offers grants for water, sanitation
Latin American and Caribbean governments that want to improve water and sanitation services can now apply for grants from the Aquafund, a new source of financing approved by the board of the IDB. The Aquafund is a fast-disbursing vehicle intended to help accelerate the development of projects in the water, sanitation and solid waste disposal sectors. > Read more

The IDB will provide up to $60 million in loans to BBVA Banco Continental of Peru to strengthen its capital position and expand its mortgage origination activities and lending for small businesses. > Read more
