Weighing & Measuring Conference, Brighton, Colorado, 8/1918 The Great War Women's Council of Defense Collection This collection is part of the Governor's Council of Defense Collection in the custody of the Colorado State Archives. There is a wealth of information about the Women's Council in the collection as well as numerous photographs. An index to the photographs is available on-line. We will respond to mail and phone requests but suggest that you conduct any extensive research at our facility whenever possible because of the voluminous nature of the material.
