Like most Americans, I have been both saddened and angered to hear of the substantial increases in reported suicides and attempted suicides of members of our military and veterans.  At a time when we are asking so much of the members of our military, I believe that we must also be giving them the support that they need while deployed and after they return home.

I am please to provide you with the text of my letter to General George W. Casey, Jr., Chief of Staff of the United States Army, regarding this matter.  You can count on me to take every measure on behalf of our military.
