Cotton harvesting progressed, as this year's crop continued to look really good. Soybean harvesting was slow due to the wet conditions. Harvesting of second crop rice will begin soon. Sugarcane producers were harvesting in unfavorable conditions due to the rain and mud. Sweet potato harvesting progressed well with the wet weather. Fruits, Vegetables and Specialty Crops Report Citrus producers were selling satsumas and vegetable producers were harvesting crops. Pecan harvesting progressed to 12 percent harvested. Livestock, Pasture, and Range Report Cattlemen were planting ryegrass and marketing calves. Some cattlemen began feeding hay due to poor pasture conditions.
