As a result, aerial applications of insecticide, fungicide and herbicide have been delayed. Stinkbugs, sheath blight and disease were reported in rice fields. Worsened by the wet weather, pests were reported in cotton fields. Declines in corn conditions are accredited to increased rainfall. Many soybean fields were stunted by wet conditions. Soybean producers continued spraying fungicides to prevent Asian Soybean Rust.Sugarcane producers were surveying fields for borers. Fruits, Vegetables and Specialty Crops Vegetable producers sustained harvesting and selling produce. Vegetable conditions continue to decline due to excessive rainfall. Citrus producers were checking for insects and diseases. Livestock, Pasture and Range Report Pasture conditions continued to improve due to the abundant rainfall and warm temperatures. Cattlemen were cutting hay and fertilizing pastures. some producers.
