Djibouti Jump Training
U.S. Air Force Senior Airmen Geoffery Koppel and Justin Gielski along with Capt. Matthew Medley, conduct a pre-flight check on an HC-130 Hercules aircraft prior to a training jump over Djibouti March 13, 2008. The training mission included dropping a four-foot cube containing an inflatable, motorized Zodiac boat , the boat engine, fuel and medical equipment, out of the aircraft over the Gulf of Aden at 1,500 feet, followed by a three-man static jump and a three-man high-altitude, low-opening jump.
