KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - Starting today, public and non-profit entities in King County are invited to submit their proposals for targeted HIV/AIDS care services from March 2007 through February 2008.
The projected amount available in this competitive Request-for-Proposal (RFP) application process is approximately $5.2 million.
Based on needs assessment and prioritization processes conducted by the HIV/AIDS Planning Council and Public Health - Seattle & King County, funding will be awarded in the following care service categories:

These funds are only for HIV-related care services, and a separate funding process will be conducted by Public Health for HIV prevention funds in spring 2007.

Completed applications must be received by noon, Friday, October 13, 2006. Decisions will be announced in late December 2006.
A technical assistance Bidders Conference for potential applicants will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2006, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the 8th floor conference center of the King Street Center, 201 South Jackson St., Seattle, 98104. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.
