Measles update: Total confirmed cases now at 11; additional public exposures identified

KING COUNTY, WA - As of Monday, February 19, the total number of confirmed measles cases (rubeola) in King County this year has risen to 11.

Significant community exposures from this latest case have occurred. People who have not had the measles or who have not been properly vaccinated against measles can contract measles if they are exposed to people who are in the contagious phase of their measles infection.
